Book a callEnquire

Padon’s SEO service is the Search package, at £1,274 a month for UK businesses in any sector. Each month you get four posts on what your customers search for, the technical fixes and schema your site needs, a check of what AI answers say about you, and a report. It starts with a one-off setup fee and then runs a month at a time.

What’s included in the SEO package

The four posts each answer something your customers actually type into Google. A plumber in Stockport might get a post on what to do when a combi boiler loses pressure, and a solicitor in Cardiff one on how long probate takes. An online tea shop could answer how much caffeine green tea has compared with black.

Google’s SEO Starter Guide says there is no magic word count, minimum or maximum.

The technical fixes deal with whatever stops Google finding or understanding your pages. Schema is structured data, a standard way of labelling a page so Google knows it’s describing, say, a dental practice with opening hours and an address. Google recommends JSON-LD for this where the site allows it. Its guidelines are clear that markup must match what’s visible on the page and that structured data doesn’t guarantee a richer listing.

The monthly AI answers check looks at what ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity say about your business. It is part of Search, and there’s more on how it works on the AI search optimisation page.

Every month you get a report showing where you stand in Google results and in AI answers.

How much SEO costs

Search is £1,274 a month. There is a one-off setup fee at the start, which we quote for your business. After that it runs a month at a time, and you can stop with 30 days’ notice. Search has no ad spend.

If you also want Google Ads and Meta ads, the Ads package is £1,839 a month plus ad spend. Everything is £2,986 a month plus ad spend and includes Search and Ads together for less than the two apart, the website looked after, and a call every month.

How SEO works week to week

First we look at everything you already have: your website and your analytics, including Google Search Console. We fix what’s broken and agree what a good week looks like for you. For a dentist that might be enquiries for implants. For an e-commerce shop it’s orders from people who arrived through search.

Every week we read what people searched for and what they clicked, then keep what works and stop what doesn’t.

Each month the four posts go up and we run the AI answers check, and then you get the report.

What we need from you

Access, given through each platform’s own user tools. In Search Console, only a property owner can add users, so you add us from Settings, under Users and permissions. WordPress lets you create a separate account with its own role. Wix has an Invite Collaborators button under Roles and Permissions. In Google Analytics, an Administrator adds users from Admin, under Access Management. For a custom-code site, access goes through the user tools of whatever runs it. Nobody shares a password, and you can remove us whenever you like.

A fact sheet, confirmed by you before we start. We publish only facts you’ve confirmed, and we never invent facts, figures, reviews or testimonials.

Who SEO services suit

Search works for businesses whose customers look things up before they buy. That might be a dental practice in Reading wanting more private patients, a conveyancing solicitor in Leeds, or a café in York that wants to come up when visitors search for breakfast near the Minster. It works the same way for an estate agent in Exeter writing about local sales or an e-commerce shop selling across the country.

For a business with a physical location or service area, Google’s local results count as well. Google says local results are mainly based on relevance, distance from the searcher and how well-known the business is, and that there is no way to pay for a better local ranking.

Search suits a business that can wait for results. It is a poor fit for one that needs enquiries this month.

How long SEO takes to work

Google’s Starter Guide says some changes take effect in a few hours and others take several months. It suggests waiting a few weeks before deciding whether a change helped. A new page has to be crawled and indexed before it can rank, and Google doesn’t guarantee that it will crawl or index every page.

Google is also plain that no one can guarantee a number one ranking. Nobody can promise a mention in AI answers either. We track both and show where you stand in every report, including the months where nothing much moved.

If you’d like a first look before committing, the free check compares your business with its competition nearby. We email a short report within two working days.

Questions

How much do Padon's SEO services cost?

The Search package is £1,274 a month. That covers four posts a month on what your customers search for, the technical fixes and schema, a monthly check of what ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity say about you, and a monthly report. There is a one-off setup fee, quoted for your business, and then it runs a month at a time with 30 days' notice.

How long does SEO take to show results?

Google's own SEO Starter Guide says some changes take effect in a few hours and others take several months, and it suggests waiting a few weeks before judging whether a change worked. Every monthly report shows where you stand, so you can see the direction of travel before the end result.

Can an SEO agency guarantee a top position on Google?

No. Google states that no one can guarantee a number one ranking. Nobody can promise a mention in AI answers from ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews or Perplexity either. What an agency can do is the work that makes a site easier to find and choose, then track rankings and AI answers and report them honestly every month.

Do I have to share my passwords with you?

No. Access is given through each platform's own user tools. In Google Search Console the property owner adds us as a user, WordPress lets you create a separate account with its own role, and Wix lets you invite a collaborator from Roles and Permissions. You can remove that access whenever you like, and nobody shares a password.

Is AI search optimisation included in SEO?

Yes. AI answers work is included in the Search package. Google says AI Overviews and AI Mode have no additional requirements beyond normal SEO, so most of the work is the same. On top of that, each month we check what ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity say about your business and put it in the report.
